From West of Carmarthen:
Take the A40 towards Carmarthen.
Passing B&Q on the other side of the carriageway, at the first roundabout on the outskirts of Carmarthen, take the third exit to stay on the A40, signed towards Llandeilo.
At the next roundabout take the first exit to stay on the A40 towards Llandeilo.
At the next roundabout take the third exit to stay on the A40 towards Llandeilo.
At the next roundabout take the second exit to stay on the A40 towards Llandeilo (note that SatNav may want you to take the first exit, but it is much more complicated that way, so follow these directions and it is a more direct route).
At the next roundabout, take the first exit, showing a brown tourist interest sign. At this turning, check your trip counter, and stay on this road for 2.5 miles. You will go through a village, and on out onto a single track road, but as you approach 2.5miles, you should be going down a hill, over a bridge and up a steep hill.
As the hill levels out, the old church will be in front of you. Drive through the gates, and park up on the gravel area in front of the church.
From East of Carmarthen:
Take the A40 from Llandeilo towards Carmarthen.
The last village you will drive through is Nantgaredig. After approximately one mile, you will pass a petrol station on the left and signs to Whitemill on the right.

Approach Carmarthen on the A485.
Rhydargaeau is the last village you will go through before reaching Peniel, in about 1.5 miles.
The speed signs reduce to 40 miles per hour before you reach the village sign for Peniel, and shortly after that the speed signs drop to 30 miles per hour.
Slow down, and get ready to take the next left turn, the road is called Pant Y Fedwen, and takes you into a modern housing estate. Keep on this road, passed a primary school on your right, and on until you reach a T junction.
Turn left, signed Capel Y Groes half a mile. Follow the single track road down hill, over a bridge and up hill.
As the hill levels out, the old church will be in front of you. Drive through the gates, and park up on the gravel area in front of the church.
From the South, and East of Carmarthen:
From the M4 heading towards Carmarthen, when the motorway end, at that roundabout, continue straight on the A48 signed to Carmarthen.
At the next roundabout take the third exit to stay on the A48 to Carmarthen.
Stay on the A48 until you reach Carmarthen, where the A40 intersects at the next roundabout, take the third exit, to stay on the A40 towards Llandeilo.
